THE N.A.V.E Center for Reception and Valorization of Education is a socio-educational project of social intervention which aims to welcome educate and awaken citizenship and critical sense in children and young people from the periphery encouraging their protagonism in society. Our audience is children and teenagers aged 4 to 14 from the Capão Redondo region São Paulo - SP where we currently serve 110 students from Monday to Friday after school.

Currently within our routine we serve these children and adolescents with a focus on popular education based on autonomy and affection where our students can feel free empowered and complete with their existence and protagonism within society. We work with the understanding that the mind and heart are in constant interaction and are necessary backgrounds for the construction of knowledge be it cognitive social or emotional.

The NAVE in Future project aims to offer four different types of workshops English IT Capoeira and Percussion so that they can interact with each other creating a balanced routine between more technical and more playful teaching. The choice of these workshops comes from the idea of training young people assisting in their educational and professional process without excluding creative development and defending our idea that creative young people are more committed and engaged young people.
