The Young Talents Project aimed to prepare young
people and adults with visual impairments to enter the world of work or resume
their professional activities that may have been interrupted through free
professional qualification courses in IT and Massage Therapy. With the aim of
allowing participants to discover their potential the 12-month project
contributed to the personal and professional growth of 37 young people and
adults with visual impairment.
Complementary activities and workshops were carried
out on improving skills professional guidance and behavior in the workplace
with the intention that development would occur comprehensively.
The courses made it possible to awaken the talents of
these young people and adults in addition to developing new skills. The
qualification of these professionals favored their inclusion in the world of
work and consequently the generation of income for the participants.
