Children and Youth of the Hatus Institute perform at the Aliança Francesa Theater

On the night of last Tuesday, the 14th, the children and youth of the choir and orchestra of the Hatus Institute performed in the auditorium of the Teatro Aliança Francesa, in the center of São Paulo. The audience was presented with performances of great themes of classical music. The initiative is the result of a partnership between the Société Générale Institute and the Aliança Francesa Theater, which aims to publicize the projects of the NGO partners of the institute.

To accompany the choir and orchestra, the singer and musician Thelma Chan, who currently lives in Morocco and has performed in several musical projects with children and young people throughout her career, was invited to a special participation. For Gilson Martins, ISG coordinator, this partnership is essential to encourage NGOs to make their work more widely available to the general public.

"Through this partnership with the Teatro Aliança Francesa, where space is provided for the presentations of our NGO partners, we seek to generate recognition for their beautiful work with the communities. Our role is precisely to help them create bridges with different and establish partnerships, spreading to the world that there are ethical and efficient social works, "says Gilson.

The Hatus Institute currently serves about 200 children and youth from Vila dos Remédios, western São Paulo.
